FINALLY! The illusive African Internet has returned! It's been more and more difficult the longer that we're here to feel disconnected from everything back at home. I love coming back to my Facebook, blog, and email and read that you all are watching the games and cheering us on! The support from everyone back at home is more powerful than imaginable. It carries our whole team through the toughest moments (if you haven't seen the USA vs ZIM game...) to know that our families and friends are watching and cheering us on.
Yesterday we played against Ireland and walking into the game, they expected to put up 100 points in that game. We didn't win the game but we worked hard to meet our own goals during the game. With each quarter, we got better and better!
Tomorrow is our game against the home team of South Africa. It's expected to be our toughest game and we know that we probably won't win but our goal is to keep them from breaking 100. Defense is on, bring it SA!
Streaming of our games is at http://livestream.com/rugbyafricatv.
