Tonight, Fox 2 News Detroit came out to cover my story! Reporter Jennifer Hammond (twitter: @hammerfox2) was so warm and wonderful. It was great to be able to share with her! One of Jennifer's relatives struggles with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) as well so she was especially moved to cover my story. My hope is that by sharing my story and my game, others might find the joy that I have found through sports and movement.
I can't thank my teammates (from the players and coaches on the court and to those playing a role on the administrative side) at the Ann Arbor Y enough for welcoming the media in for this experience. Sharing my story with the media is a whole new world for me and your patience and understanding throughout this has been an irreplaceable help. This is only the beginning! I wouldn't be where I am today without having been surrounded by the strong team you've been and your continued support. Thank you!
