Sharing the Game

Over the past few weeks, I've been doing a lot of recruiting to attract more girls to netball. I want to go to South Africa with the strongest possible team! Ilze Gideons, coach of Team USA netball, will be here on Thursday to work with girls who are interested in trying out. I've been in high schools around the area to let them know about this awesome opportunity and it's more difficult than I thought it would be. It's easy to go to schools and hand out fliers but to try and pitch a sport to girls that they don't even know is tough. There's been some interest generated but I can't wait for the day when netball is just as common as basketball or volleyball!
